AFRICAN-AMERICAN MALE INITIATIVE
The mission of the Georgia State University African American Male Initiative at Booker T. Washington High School is to enhance the graduation rate of Black males.
EARLY COLLEGE PROGRAM
This offers Early College High School students the opportunity to enroll at Georgia State University early to potentially earn up to two years of college credit in an effort to change the face of higher education.
The current Jumpstart model pairs Jumpstart-trained college students with young children in one-to-one partnerships uniquely designed to develop literacy, language and social skills.
The Technology Engineering, Environment Math and Science (TEEMS) AmeriCorps program partners with urban elementary, middle schools, high schools and educational organizations that seek to better prepare students in STEM areas.
URBAN EDUCATION THINK TANK
A research-based, self-contained academic community whose membership is reflective of several disciplines and whose scholarship focuses on questions and solutions related to urban education.
